The factory airbox on an F-series B58 is built to run quiet, not to move as much air as possible. aFe's Momentum GT swaps it for an intake system with a dry filter, so the turbo has an easier path for air and you hear more of it. aFe quotes gains of 13 hp and 13 lb-ft of torque.
What you get
- Momentum GT intake system that takes the place of the factory airbox.
- Pro DRY S filter, aFe's dry-media filter, so there is no oil to service. aFe rates the system at 400 CFM.
- Silicone coupler in the kit.
- No cutting or drilling of factory parts.
Good to know
- aFe says it won't fit convertibles, because the factory strut brace gets in the way.
- Not CARB exempt. aFe does not sell it for use in California or on cars registered there.
