Dinan Turbo Inlet Pipe - BMW M240i/340i/440i (F2X/F3X), 540i/740i/840i/X5 (G)

The turbo inlet pipe carries filtered air from the airbox to the turbocharger. Dinan's replacement gives the B58 a larger inlet, with up to 24% more flow and 24% more internal volume than the factory part by Dinan's numbers. It also drops the factory sound resonator, so you hear more of the turbo.

Good to know

• On the G-chassis cars, Dinan says this inlet does not mate to the factory intake. It needs Dinan's own intake and inlet fit kit.
• The sealing ring has to go in the same orientation as the original. Dinan warns that getting it wrong can damage the turbo or engine.
