This is a compact one-way breather that mounts where the S58 oil cap goes. It can back up a compatible factory PCV system or be part of a properly designed external crankcase ventilation setup, and on the verified cars the engine cover stays on.
What you get
- 6061-T6 aluminum body, CNC machined and black anodized.
- Four stainless steel baffles inside and a PTFE check ball for one-way flow.
- Serviceable filter with a retaining clamp.
- Compact size: it rises roughly 2.5 inches above the cap opening, and the filter measures about 2.75 inches in diameter.
Good to know
- VTT has confirmed hood clearance on the G8X M3/M4 and the X3 M/X4 M. On other S58 cars, lower the hood slowly by hand and check clearance before closing it.
