On a serious S58 or B58TU build, crankcase pressure quietly costs power. It hurts ring seal, adds blow-by and contaminates the oil. VTT's vacuum pump kit is built to hold steady crankcase vacuum across the rev range, so the engine runs more efficiently at high boost and high rpm.
