VTT's kit removes the S58's factory oil filter housing and moves the filter under the car, where it takes a standard spin-on filter and is much easier to reach. It also cuts weight and simplifies the oil plumbing.
What you get
- Relocated spin-on filter, accessible from underneath.
- Reachable with the aluminum belly pan installed, unless you run a stock-style crossover downpipe.
- Three ways to buy: the Complete Kit, the plate with oil filter housing only, or the plate with two -10 AN fittings only.
Good to know
- The factory oil cooler is removed by this kit. You'd have to plumb one back in yourself.
- VTT intends it mainly for drag racing. For street, circuit or road racing, it strongly recommends running an oil cooler.
