On the F-series B58 cars, the intake sits right next to the exhaust manifold, so it heat-soaks quickly. do88's intake is fully sealed against that heat and still uses the factory fresh-air inlet. A larger aluminum pipe replaces the factory plastic one on the way to the turbo.
What you get
- Sealed filter housing with a heat shield, lid and rubber seals to keep hot engine-bay air out.
- Uses the factory fresh-air inlet duct to feed the filter.
- 85 mm (3.3 in) mandrel-bent aluminum pipe that widens to 93 mm (3.7 in) at the turbo inlet elbow.
- Pipe sized to the MAF sensor's inner diameter for accurate readings.
