The Gen 1 B58 cools its charge air inside the intake manifold, and the factory unit struggles once boost goes up. CSF's machined billet replacement was engineered with VF Engineering and borrows the features CSF developed on its Gen 2 manifold. A big focus is giving all six cylinders the same volume and speed of cooled air.

What you get

  • Machined billet aluminum manifold with an integrated charge-air cooler.
  • Welded air divider in the inlet tank, added after CFD simulation so cylinders 4-6 get the same flow as cylinders 1-3.
  • Two 1/8" NPT ports on the rear water plate for reading coolant temps in and out, or for bleeding the system.
  • Hardware kit included, with 1/8" NPT plugs for any ports you don't use.
  • Clearance for the spin-on oil filter, with a counterbalanced design so the filter stays easy to reach.

  • Bleed the system using the factory BMW or Toyota procedure after install.
