The Gen 2 B58 sends its coolant through BMW's Heat Management Module, a bulky unit with a mess of factory hoses around it. For a race car or an engine swap, this kit removes the HMM and puts a billet block-off in its place, so the cooling system can run on simple AN lines.
What you get
- Billet block-off plate that replaces the OEM Heat Management Module.
- Rear water pump plug and hold-down bracket, so everything seals properly.
- Modular -16ORB port. Fit a -16AN, -20AN or any other compatible fitting.
- Plumb it your way. Route your own lines to the radiator and add an inline thermostat if you want one.
