The HFD (High Frequency Development) mid-pipe is Valvetronic Designs' approach to S58 sound. It's built around exhaust pulse timing and acoustic balance, so the inline-six sounds smoother and more exotic. The goal is better tone rather than just more volume, cutting rasp and low-rpm harshness while keeping the high-frequency character.
