BMW's B58 charge pipe is plastic, and with heat and extra boost it can turn brittle and crack. Forge replaces it with a one-piece aluminum pipe that bolts into the factory location and has a bigger bore than stock, so the charge air flows with less disruption on its way to the engine.
What you get
- Mandrel-bent, one-piece aluminum pipe, powder coated so the finish holds up.
- Larger diameter than the OEM pipe for more flow.
- CNC-machined billet couplers at the joints.
- Built-in 1/8" NPT water-methanol port, with a blanking plug supplied for when you don't use it.
- Silicone hose with a fluorosilicone inner liner, which tolerates modern long-life coolants and oily charge air.
- All fitting hardware included.
