Fitting the Gen 2 (B58TU) high-pressure fuel pump to a Gen 1 B58 means connecting the newer pump to the older engine's wiring. This short extension harness bridges the gap when you replace the factory HDP5 pump with the Bosch/BMW B58TU unit.
