Eventuri Black Carbon Intake - BMW G2X / G42 M40i (built after Nov 2018)

On the M340i, M440i and M240i, the intake sits right next to the exhaust manifold, so the engine bay heat-soaks fast and the turbo ends up building boost from warm, thin air. Eventuri's fix is a sealed carbon airbox that shuts that heat out, with a second feed so sealing it doesn't choke airflow.

What you get

• Sealed carbon airbox with a second cold-air feed that draws through an opening into the wheel arch, alongside the factory feed.
• Gold reflective heat shield facing the exhaust manifold to cut radiant heat.
• Smooth carbon intake tube, 111 mm inside diameter at the start, tapering down to the turbo inlet in place of the ribbed stock tube.
• Custom high-flow dry filter, ISO-tested for filtration, with more filter area than the factory element.
• Strut brace clearance. The airbox is as big as the space allows, with a recess for an aftermarket brace.

Good to know

• This version is for cars built after November 2018. Earlier G20 M340i cars need the pre-November 2018 version.
