On the S58, the water-to-air charge cooler is built into the intake manifold. The factory core is tube-and-fin, crimped to thermoplastic tanks, and those crimped joints are a known failure point once boost rises much above stock. The factory setup also heat-soaks quickly on track, which can lead the ECU to pull power. do88's charge cooler manifold is its replacement for this factory part.
