The S58 in the X3 M and X4 M breathes through four paper filters. Dinan's set replaces them with high-flow cotton elements that drop straight into place, which is about the simplest intake upgrade you can make on this car.
What you get
- Full set of four filters, one for each filter position.
- 18.6% more flow than stock. Dinan measured 1022 CFM per bank against 862 CFM for the factory filters, at 28 inches of water.
- Dyno-measured gains of up to 7 wheel horsepower and 8 lb-ft of torque at 4,750 rpm, per Dinan.
- Multi-layered cotton with deep pleats for flow and filtration, backed by steel wire mesh that resists dents.
