Dinan found the factory X3 M and X4 M intake to be efficient for the tight space it lives in, so rather than redesign it, they went after the real restriction: the paper filters. This kit pairs high-flow drop-in filters with a large carbon fiber engine cover that gives the engine bay the look the stock plastic lacks.
What you get
- High-flow drop-in filters in multi-layered cotton. Dinan reports close to 20% more flow than the stock paper filters.
- Modest power gains in the middle and upper rev range, according to Dinan.
- 2x2 carbon fiber lid with UV coating. It sits in the factory footprint and flares out at the sides to cover more of the engine bay.
