Dinan's cat-back takes out the Supra's factory resonator and collector to give the car more voice, but it keeps the stock exhaust valves. With the valves shut it stays quieter, and when they open the system flows freely. A muffler in the path is tuned to cut the frequencies that cause drone at cruise.
What you get
- 304 stainless steel, TIG welded. The main run is 83 mm the whole way, where the factory system peaks at 80 mm.
- Factory valves kept in use, with the valve actuators moved over to the new system and an extension wire harness to reach them.
- About 10 lb lighter than the stock exhaust, by Dinan's figure.
- Up to 6 hp and 5 lb-ft, according to Dinan.
- Polished tips to finish the rear of the car.
