The head gasket seals the combustion chambers between the block and cylinder head, and it takes the brunt of extra cylinder pressure on a tuned engine. This Cometic gasket is built for the second-generation B58 (B58TU) and suits rebuilds and high-boost setups. At .063 in, it is the thinner of the two versions we list, so it changes compression less than the thicker option.
