VTT Plug & Play Pre/Post Throttle 5-Bar / 6-Bar MAP Sensor Kit

The factory MAP sensors run out of range once boost climbs on a modified B58, so the engine computer can no longer see true manifold pressure. VTT's kit swaps in a higher-range sensor while keeping the factory sensor connected for intake air temperature. It plugs into the stock wiring, with no splicing, in either 5-bar or 6-bar form.

What you get

• 5-bar or 6-bar sensor. The 5-bar reads from -14.5 to 58 psi absolute; the 6-bar reads from -14.5 to 72.5 psi absolute. Both output 0.5 to 4.5 V from a 5 V supply.
• Harness to suit the location. A 3-wire harness covers the B58 pre-throttle sensor and a 4-wire harness covers the post-throttle sensor.
• Factory IAT reading kept. The 4-wire setup moves power, ground and signal to the VTT sensor while the stock sensor stays in place for air temperature.
• Stainless steel sensor body with a 1/8 in NPT thread and 0.5% full-scale accuracy.
• Signal output wire on the post-throttle sensor for an external controller, giving a steady reading that isn't affected by throttle closure.
• 12-month warranty from VTT.

Good to know

• The tune must be updated with the new sensor scaling.
• VTT notes the factory-style pre-throttle sensor scales differently from its post-throttle kit, so matching voltages before and after the throttle takes two VTT sensors.
• VTT states the 6-bar sensor is not compatible with FAST XFI or HP Tuners.
