Scorpion calls the single mid-pipe its maximum-flow option for the G87 M2. Instead of two separate pipes, a large chamber-like section joins the two sides of the system for most of its length. The result is quicker turbo spool and a heavy, aggressive exhaust note you won't get from a twin-pipe layout.
