K&N Typhoon Intake BMW 340I L6-3.0L F/I 16-20

K&N's Typhoon intake replaces the factory airbox and intake tube on the B58 340i with an open-element filter and a smoother tube. That gives the turbo a freer path for air. A heat shield keeps the filter away from engine bay heat.

What you get

• Replacement intake tube that takes the place of the factory tube and filter housing.
• K&N air filter in place of the stock paper filter.
• Heat shield that separates the filter from the hot engine bay.
• Mass air sensor mount in the new tube. Your factory sensor moves over.

Good to know

• Disconnecting the battery during install erases stored settings such as radio presets.
