EBC brake Ultimax2 brake Pads

Ultimax2 is EBC's daily-driver replacement pad, made as an alternative to the original parts. It's aimed at quiet, low-dust street braking in hot and cold weather, and EBC calls it its quietest pad formulation.

What you get

• Non-metallic compound with no steel fibers, which EBC says is easier on rotors. EBC puts rotor wear at up to 50% less than a semi-metallic pad.
• Red brake-in coating on the friction face so the pads bed in quickly.
• Shims on US-market pads, plus backing plates that use mechanical hooks to keep the friction material from separating.
• Low dust, close to what the original pads produce.
• GG friction rating and ECE R90 approval.

• EBC says Ultimax2 is not suitable for track use.
