EBC 2017+ BMW M240 Coupe Bluestuff Front Brake Pads

Bluestuff NDX is EBC's high-friction pad for fast street driving, entry-level track days and short race events, and it is aimed at quicker, heavier performance cars. It holds its bite at rotor temperatures up to about 1000°F, which is the point where many street pads start to fade. This set goes on the front axle.

What you get

• High-friction NDX compound, rated by EBC at 0.52 μ, the grippier of its two Bluestuff grades.
• Quick bedding. The pad surface is scorched during manufacture, so it beds in fast and may bed itself over the first few miles.
• Low dust and quiet bedding, with EBC putting the dust level close to its Redstuff street pad.
• Vee grooves cut deep into the pad to carry away debris picked up on track.
• Hooked backing plates. The friction material is locked to steel plates with a mechanical hook system meant to stop the pad separating from the plate.

Good to know

• EBC asks for nearly flat rotors. Worn or grooved discs can make bedding take much longer.
• Replace the pads once the friction material is down to about 3 mm (1/8 inch), and check them every 30 laps on track.
