The factory Z4 strut brace is a pair of flattened aluminum tubes: it does the job but looks out of place in the engine bay. Dinan's billet replacement ties the strut towers together more stiffly, so the front end flexes less in hard corners and responds more directly, and it looks the part when the hood is up.
