When a manual Supra moves to a bigger turbo, a single-disc clutch eventually runs out of holding power. This Clutch Masters twin-disc kit is rated for well over 1,000 lb-ft and comes with a billet aluminum flywheel that replaces the heavy factory dual-mass unit. It is built to take hard launches, clutch kicks and high-rpm shifts.
What you get
- Two ceramic discs, one with a rigid hub and one with a sprung hub.
- Billet aluminum cover with Type 3 hard anodizing. Clutch Masters puts its flex at .003 in, against up to .030 in for cast or stamped covers.
- Strap-driven plates for smoother engagement with less chatter.
- 6061-T6 billet aluminum flywheel that meets SFI spec 1.2, with a replaceable insert and hard-coat anodizing.
- Less rotating mass than the factory dual-mass flywheel.
