Akrapovic's Slip-On Line replaces the Supra's rear exhaust with a system made entirely of titanium. It takes about 6 kg off the back of the car and has an active valve, so you can keep it quiet on the highway or open it up when you're driving hard.
What you get
- All-titanium construction, 6.1 kg (13.4 lb) lighter than stock, about 36%.
- Small power and torque gain. Akrapovic measured +3 hp and +5.5 lb-ft at 2,400 rpm.
- Single muffler with titanium tailpipes. The outer surface is coated for durability and the inside carries a blue-purple annealed finish.
- Exhaust valve with a housing cast in Akrapovic's own foundry, giving a quiet comfort mode without drone and a louder mode for spirited driving.
- ECE type approval.
Good to know
- The factory exhaust has to be cut to install it.
- The optional stainless Evolution link pipe set turns it into a full system, but fitting that set voids the ECE approval.
