This is a drop-in replacement for the paper air filter in the X3 M40i and X4 M40i airbox. It fits the factory housing, so there's nothing else to change. You can wash and re-oil it instead of buying a new paper filter at every service.
What you get
- Pro 5R media: five layers of oiled cotton gauze. aFe rates it at up to 69% more flow than stock.
- Polyurethane frame with a progressive bump seal, so no gasket or sealant is needed.
- Washable and reusable. aFe's own cleaner and blue filter oil recharge it.
